The short version
Bundled assets are CC0 1.0 (public domain) unless a section below says otherwise. The exceptions are two CC BY 4.0 models, which require the attribution given here, and the typeface, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. All are free for personal and commercial use. The game code itself is © the project author and runs on open-source libraries listed at the bottom.
3D models — CC BY 4.0
Both are Sketchfab downloads. Modifications: converted to glTF, the material and palette-texture colours baked into vertex colours at load time, and — for the mountain — sun shading and atmospheric haze baked in so the model draws unlit.

3D models — CC0 1.0
Low-poly, untextured; material colours are baked into vertex colours at load time so each model draws as a single instanced mesh. Sourced via poly.pizza, which hosts these packs under CC0. All by Quaternius:
- Rock_Snow_2, Rock_3, Rock — boulders and small rocks
Snow material — CC0 1.0
The snow colour, normal and roughness maps are derived from Snow010A on ambientCG (Lennart Demes), downscaled from 1K to 512 px (256 px for roughness) and re-encoded as JPEG to keep the download small.

Outfit by Smartsheet Inc. and Rodrigo Fuenzalida, via Google Fonts. Self-hosted as a variable font, so the pages load the typeface without touching Google's font servers.
Original work
- The sky is a procedural shader dome — gradient, sun disc with halo and noise clouds — that replaced a photographic HDRI whose blurry horizon read as low-res. It is also rendered into a cubemap to light the scene.
- The audio is synthesised at runtime: filtered noise for wind, carving and rail grinds, oscillator transients for landings. No sound files are bundled, because wind and grind intensity have to track speed and skid continuously, which a loop cannot.
- The rider's rig — a 17-joint skeleton, the hand-authored poses for riding, tucking, carving, air, grabs, grinds and wipeouts, and the auto-skinning that fits the CC BY body onto it — is written in code. The original primitive body (helmet, goggles, quilted jacket) remains as the fallback and as the 1v1 opponent's look.
- The snowboard is an original model made for the game: a cambered twin with rockered tips, a printed topsheet and base, steel edges and strap bindings. The deck designs and outfit colours laid over its topsheet are painted in code.
- Kickers, rails and every hat are generated in code: the kicker is a groomed snow jump with red dye lines, broad snow shoulders and striped marker poles; the booster a graphite deck with streaming gold chevrons, a lit lip and a steel frame; the rail an orange tube worn to bare steel along its top, kinked down into the snow at its exit, on braced uprights; the rail box a steel-framed slider with a graphite top, steel edges and striped blue panels. Building them from the same numbers as the collision means the surface you see is exactly the one the physics reports.
- The trees and shrubs are generated in code too: three snow-laden spruces, a gold larch and a bare one, a weathered snag and two dwarf-pine shrubs, each forest tree in its own shade of green, swaying a little in the wind.
- The gondola lifts — stations, towers, ropes and cabins running down beside the run.
- The mountain is layered noise, never stored, identical for any two players who ask for the same coordinates.
